Adobe have simplified the Adobe Volume Licensing programs to improve the ordering and management experience for valued volume licensing customers. Licensing changes are effective 7th May 2012. Read more about it here.

With the new Adobe Creative Suite 6, you can design at lightning speed, create immersive content for the iPad and other tablet devices, build standards-based websites and apps with adaptive layouts, and edit video in native formats. CS6 begins shipment on May 7, 2012. Read more here.

Adobe Reader Now Allows Electronic Signatures From iOS, Android

As more and more business is being conducted on the go and on mobile devices, Adobe has released an update to its Adobe Reader mobile application to make it easier than ever for businesses to sign electronic documents on the go.

Through integration between Adobe Reader and Adobe EchoSign eSignature service, users can gain real-time visibility into the signature process and status of contracts. This gives users the assurance that their signed documents have been received, and can be easily organized and managed. With the update, users can now electronically sign documents on their Apple iOS or Android mobile devices without having to leave Adobe Reader. Users can now simply draw their signature with their finger and can also send documents to be signed using the Adobe EchoSign service.

Major Announcement from Adobe - Change to Creative Suite Upgrade Policy - UPDATE

In December of last year Adobe communicated changes to the Creative Suite upgrade policy. Express Data would like to take a moment to ensure you are aware of a recent update to this policy.

Adobe’s new Creative Suite upgrade policy, which goes into effect when Creative Suite 6 is released, will require customers to be on the most current version of Creative Suite in order to qualify for upgrade pricing when new versions are released. This means that customers need to be on CS5 or CS5.5 in order to receive upgrade pricing when CS6 is released.

UPDATE: To ensure customers have sufficient opportunity to upgrade, Adobe will extend an introductory offer to CS3 and CS4 customers that will provide those customers with upgrade pricing when CS6 is released until 31st December, 2012. Customers who remain on CS2 or earlier will not be eligible for upgrade pricing for Creative Suite.

The 20% off Creative Suite Upgrades from CS2, 3 and 4 promotion will now run until 15th March 2012.
