Kaviza is crazy easy, they're doing it right!

All you need to deploy VDI-in-a-box are off-the-shelf servers with local storage to run the virtual desktops. No additional management servers are needed as VDI-in-a-box is a virtual appliance that runs on the same servers and manages them as a cohesive grid. Scale on-demand by simply adding more servers. VDI-in-a-box delivers built-in high availability without shared storage and eliminates the need for separate connection brokers, load balancers, provisioning servers and shared storage.

VDI-in-a-box is offered as a single edition product. Delivery includes a software appliance with built-in connection broker, load balancer, desktop provisioning, user management, profile management, High-definition user experience (HDX), and seamless remote-access with single sign-on across firewalls via the Citrix Access Gateway (CAG). Please note that Citrix Access Gateway licenses are not included
VDI-in-a-box licensing works as follows:

Perpetual – This entitles the user to the full VDI-in-a-box product on a perpetual basis. Note: Subscription Advantage is NOT included in the perpetual license for Kaviza.
Concurrent – VDI-in-a-box is offered under a concurrent license model. Licenses are checked out on a first come first served basis for the period of the connection only

Q. What is the minimum number of concurrent users that can be purchased?
A. The minimum is 10 concurrent users. A minimum of 1-year Gold or Platinum support is required with the license purchase.
